Worked in the medical field with chronic pain patients for over six years. She also worked at a Medical Marijuana Evaluation Center in Warwick RI as an educator and consultant for over one year. Krystle has experienced first hand the benefits of CBD, and is passionate about educating and helping others experience a natural alternative for relief.
Recently, Krystle has become passionately involved in creating a petition proposed to the State of Rhode Island in regards to the Medical Marijuana Program. The goal of the petition is to offer alternative options to those suffering from Opioid Dependency in hopes to end this Opioid Epidemic. Krystle has recently attended the annual American Nurses Association Rhode Island (ANA-RI) meeting on February 1, 2019. This included a comprehensive CBD and Medical Marijuana conference titled ” Empowering the Nurse’s Role in the Medicinal Cannabis Movement”. This conference was presented by Carey Clark PhD, RN, who is President of American Cannabis Nurses Association. One of many educational conferences to come.
Krystle was interviewed on The Ernest Faison Show on PEG-RI TV in June 2019 to educate the public on the safe and proper use of CBD medications. The educational purpose of the interview was to summarize a basic understanding of CBD therapy for public awareness. CBD topics of the endocannabinoid system as it relates to CBD/THC, the indications of its use, different ways of intake, the benefits of CBD, the safe/proper use, different types of products such as capsules, tinctures, edibles, topicals, and the difference between full spectrum versus isolate CBD products were discussed.
